I'm moving! to the third floor! i anticipate it to be the easiest move ever. no going out side, no renting a van, no getting boxes... but i also anticipate a slow migration of stuff. like stuff going up in stages. take a box up, dump stuff out, take box down, fill, repeat.
today a guy actually responded to the craigslist ad for the room. not mine. crazy's room. but maybe he'll want my room instead. my room is much better. anyways. i describe him to people at the german postdoc. that seems pretty descriptive to me. but when i told my coworker, the word postdoc was a mystery to him. "wait. what? post OP? like a tranny?" ..........no.
